Never used for training
Your knowledge base content, chat conversations, and customer data are never used to train our AI models or shared with third parties for model training.
Isolated per account
Each account's knowledge base and chat data is isolated. Your chatbot cannot access another customer's data.
Delete on request
You can delete your chatbot, knowledge sources, and all associated data at any time from your dashboard. Data is purged within 30 days.
Encryption in transit
All data transmitted between your visitors and VocUI is encrypted via TLS 1.2+. Sensitive credentials (such as connected-calendar passwords) are additionally encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM via HashiCorp Vault Transit.
Self-hosted on OVH
VocUI runs on self-hosted Postgres, authentication, and application infrastructure on OVH — single-tenant, no third-party DBaaS handling your data.
AI provider data handling
Chat messages are processed by our active large language model sub-processor. The current provider, jurisdiction, and applicable data-handling terms are published at /sub-processors. Where contractually available, providers are bound not to use API data for model training.
Compliance & regulation
GDPR compliant.
VocUI processes data in compliance with GDPR. As a data processor, we only handle personal data as instructed by you (the data controller). A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request for Enterprise customers.
CCPA compliant.
For California residents, VocUI complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal data.
